Justin is a strategic advisor called upon by governments, corporations, investors and not-for-profit organisations to lead strategic initiatives focused on our natural world.

Justin founded Story Advisory to partner with clients and activate investments in nature that realise opportunities for the environment, economy and people. His work targets strategy, policy, and business cases for investments in multiple domains including water, coasts, forestry, biodiversity, agriculture and land management.

Justin’s career spans over 17 years and most recently spent over 8 years as a senior leader in a multi-national consulting business, Ricardo (formerly Aither), focussed on natural capital investment and leadership for the Western Australian market. Justin commenced his career at CSIRO and subsequently held policy and corporate management positions in the public sector, including as Senior Policy Advisor to the Minister for Water and Forestry.

Justin’s qualifications include Bachelor of Science and Environmental Engineering (Honours), for which he was awarded the Centre for Groundwater Studies Honours Prize. He has also received multiple awards, including National Dux, while attaining a Master of Applied Finance and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
